Wizarding World Fans Are Petitioning To Save Beloved Harry Potter Game Before It's Gone Forever
Spider-Gwen has arrived in Fortnite as part of Chapter Three Season Four’s premium Battle Pass and players are now able to unlock her skin and a set of accompanying cosmetics in exchange for Battle Stars. Fortnite is no stranger to visits from superheroes from across the multiverse, with the game featuring several collaborations with comic book giants in past seasons. Spider-Gwen joins dozens of her fellow Marvel heroes in Fortnite, including Wolverine, Captain America, and Black Panther, and thankfully she’s available to players willing to reach the highest levels of this season’s Battle Pass.
As with previous seasons, Fortnite’s current season features a battle pass with dozens of rewards players can collect. Most rewards are only available to players who spend 950 V-Bucks to unlock the premium version of the battle pass or have joined the Fortnite Crew program, whose key selling point is access to each new season’s battle pass. V-Bucks can be bought using real money, although players can also receive a small amount from the free battle pass each season. The Spider-Gwen skin and accompanying cosmetics are sadly only available to those who purchase access to the Chapter Three Season Four premium battle pass.

Although Epic has now confirmed rumors that Spider-Gwen would appear in Fortnite, players will still need to have plenty of Battle Stars on hand in order to unlock her. As expected, the character’s popularity means that the skin and cosmetics are at the highest tiers of the Battle Pass and will be challenging to collect even for dedicated players.
Unlocking All Spider-Gwen Cosmetics In Fortnite
Fortnite’s Battle Pass works differently from most battle passes. Instead of a linear track where players earn rewards each time they level up, Fortnite players earn five Battle Stars every time they level up. Battle Stars can be spent on the items in the Fortnite Battle Pass, which appear on ten different pages. However, each of the ten pages first needs to be unlocked either by purchasing a set number of items from previous pages, or by reaching a set level. This effectively stops players from skipping straight to buying rewards from higher tiers. Much like Fortnite’s Darth Vader skin last season, Spider-Gwen is on Page 10 of the battle pass, so players either need to have unlocked 90 rewards from previous pages, or have reached Level 90 to start unlocking these cosmetics:
Item | Image | Cost |
---|---|---|
Spider-Snare Harvesting Tool | 7 Battle Stars | |
Spider-Gwen Banner Icon | 2 Battle Stars | |
Good Game Gwen Emoticon | 3 Battle Stars | |
Arachrobatics Emote | 7 Battle Stars | |
Meanwhile... Back Bling | 6 Battle Stars | |
Gwen's Spiderchute Glider | 6 Battle Stars | |
Web of Life Loading Screen | 3 Battle Stars | |
Mid-Swing Spray | 3 Battle Stars | |
100 V-Bucks | 5 Battle Stars | |
Spider-Gwen Outfit | 9 Battle Stars (players also need to have unlocked all other Page 10 rewards) |
Players essentially have to complete the Battle Pass to be able to unlock Spider-Gwen, since she isn’t available for purchase in the Item Shop like other superheroes such as Teen Titans’ Starfire in Fortnite. This means earning lots of XP from playing the game and completing a wide variety of daily, weekly, and milestone quests between now and the season’s end on December 3rd. Of course, players can also purchase stacks of V-Bucks to simply buy their way through the battle pass, but the extremely high price means this isn’t recommended for the vast majority of players. If past seasons are anything to go by, Fortnite Chapter Three Season Four will serve up dozens of quests players can complete getting enough experience points and Battle Stars.
