The white nation although isn't tyrannical, they are nonetheless boring as f*ck and are bias into thinking that being white is righteous. Though they learn that the people of the black nation are being forced into war. It's not a good anime, and you'll only be met with disappointment if you expect otherwise. It's a very bad anime, and that's exactly what makes it worth watching. I am also judging this show as a 12 episode anime -- this means keeping in mind what 12 episodes can accomplish, and not expecting the depth, character development, writing and literary techniques that can be employed with 24 episode, or, what some people have shown to do, expect the standards of a 50 episode piece in 12 episodes. It's mainly down to the story if anything. Here is why! The idea of light vs darkness is really interesting. Really is. May 5, 2020 silvergate Not Recommended Preliminary (4/12 eps) STORY: I can only grasp the basis of this story. Four episodes in and there's nothing, except character introduction. I do understand the concept of "Light" and "Dark"; "Sky" and "Earth", but giving us the concept does not lead to a potential good story. According to the lore, they have always been fighting with themselves again and again and again, with no end and it seems the White Kingdom always get the goods while the people of the Kingdom mostly suffer. As for start, the story is an easy 1 for me. Nothing new, overused cliché everywhere. Apart from the bad pacing i think this anime has missed its genre.
