Yaesu FT-818 HF/ VHF/ UHF All Mode Portable Transceivers incorporate all the attractive features of the ever-popular FT-817ND with upgrades that many owners have desired. The FT-818 provides 6W of solid output power with an external DC power source. The supplied Ni-MH battery pack (SBR-32MH) provides greater battery capacity - 9.6v/ 1900mAh. Plus, cover any emergency with the included FBA-28 Battery Case that can run the radio with eight AA batteries. Upgraded with a built-in TCXO-9 oscillator, for fantastic frequency stability of ±0.5ppm, satellite enthusiast and digital mode operators will have a special interest in the FT-818.
